What is EVO ICL™?
EVO ICL™ is an Implantable Collamer® Lens that fits over your natural one. Dr. Senekal offers the advanced STAAR EVO ICL™, allowing for a smooth, minimally invasive procedure. These new lenses contain collagen, a naturally occurring protein found throughout the body, making them biocompatible and safe. EVO ICL™ lenses are placed over your existing lenses to provide vision correction without disrupting your corneas.

Minimally Invasive Procedure
EVO ICL™ only requires a 2.7mm incision to place these lenses. What is Recovery Like After EVO ICL™?
Since EVO ICL™ does not remove anything from your eye, recovery takes very little time. Most people can return to driving and most of their usual activities within two days. Minor irritation or sensitivity to light may occur. We will provide prescription eye drops for the first week. Avoid rubbing or touching your eyes for a week, and do not go swimming for at least two weeks after the procedure.
Am I a Good Candidate for EVO ICL™?
